Memoir Monday January 26, 2009 Camp Beach Walk.

It was a full moon, the night was beutiful, the breeze was cold, the waves rising up and down, and the little kids running everywhere joking around. Some people burying their feet under the sand. And some people like Michelle,Sophia, and I were trying to run away from the water and once it touched us we would go roll in the sand up and down the small sandy hills. Then we would dust of and visit the holes made by the other kids.As we got into the hole with our flash light we dug and dug more and more  till the hole looked like  a hole made by an animal. Then after admiring our work we would run around in search for turltle eggs but when they told us we had to leave we were very disapointed because we didn't find any turltlr eggs.

Mrs.Sosa reminded us that we would be watching the inaugration at 12 o'clock noon in the Wolfroom. They were fixing the computer and getting the cables. Mrs.Brown told us to take a seat. The projector shining infront of us. My excitement won't leave me alone. Then it started with a song ,since when I paid attention,And a few minutes later President  Obama was filling up the screen. We watched until he finished his speech and then we went back to our classroom.

Memoir Monday January 19, 2009 Christmas

It was cold. The bells were ringing, the winds were whistling, and the chilly snow was touching my hand. At last it was Christmas! I love Christmas, all the presents, the snow and best of all, family. There are just two things about Christmas that I don’t like. When I was very small I spent one of my Christmas with my Grandparents in India and a few months later my Grandfather died. Then, it was Christmas again. I was in Switzerland. Christmas I always spend with my parents and some friends but that year it was different and I spent it with my Cousins, Uncle, Aunt and Grandmother. A few months later very early in the morning we got a phone call. I thought I had heard the phone ringing in my dreams but a few hours later my Dad woke me up and said that he had to leave for India. I knew it had to do something with the family and I supposed it was my Grandmother. So I asked my Mom and she said that my Grandmother had died. I was shocked at first but then I realized what everybody says that, that is the cycle of life.
