I woke up really late because I fell asleep at around 2:00 A.M. Then I used my computer and watched some T.V. after all that we ate lunch that my grandmother made it is like an Indian style of arroz con pollo except that it is with goat meat. It was really good!!!
Later that day I read my book, "The Diary Of Anne Frank" I really liked the beginning. And a couple of hpurs later I went to the mall with my mom and dad. We went shopping and I had to try on lots of clothes (I hate Trying on clothes).
After the shopping rush hour. We came back home and my dad wanted to see my grandmothers wound that she got in the mall's bathroom a few days ago. Then I went on my computer AGAIN and started writing this (whatever you wanna call it)

Mehr Eliezer
“You are lucky to be sitting next to me.” Elena would tell me and then take a sip of her hot chocolate.
She wakes every morning and turns on the news, she painfully watches all of those superstars waste their lives. Then she stays at home leaning on her brother’s money. Then she also tells me about the designer clothes that she would wear, Pinks with purples…Blues with browns…oranges with reds…and stripes with stripes. No more shaggy jeans and T-shirts! But that is all that she has now… Shaggy jeans with a blue, black, grey, brown or teal T-shirt.
She tells me that she would be living in a mansion with a big, big glass chandelier in the center of the house and that she would sing under it. But she only has her roof top to sing. She sings there because that is the only place where the angry neighbors do not complain.
She lets go of her voice louder so that the gods hear it and the angels play their harps. Hey silky voice making the birds stay silent and the wind stop whistling. Then the trees sway, thunder strikes, and the plants grow when she stops.
Now Elena liver far, far away with her husband. They live in a small sienna colored house. She lives next to an ocean of wheat with no screaming neighbors around. Now she lives in a house with a rooftop where she sings and sings her sorrows.

Mothers Day!!!

Since my grandmother was here, we celebrated it even more... in the morning we gave out the presents, my granjdmother got an I- pod and my mom got a vignett with 2 really preety shirts. They loved the presents.
and then we watched Harry Potter and the half blood prince- I really liked it, for dinner we went to a Peruvian restaurant and we ate really good food.
When we were on the way to the house my parents friends called saying that in Parke Omar there was a large amount of colorful light... then we went to the park and saw a small roller coaster and some other rides. So we decided to run around and play- well the kids- the adults just stayed talking.
So this is how we spend our Mothers day.
How do you spend yours?

But now...Now I have moved to Panama, With Panama Viejo and Paitilla and patacones to arroz con pollo. Where I run around doing summer salts and look out the window and only see my reflection on the mirror made windows of the tall...tall...tall buildings.
Even though I have moved I won't forget my own blood.

What Keeps Me Writing?
I also like writing because I can express myself in a way that is poetic and in which I can tell my side of the story.
So tell me what keeps you writing?

Dear Mrs. Brown,
I enjoy being in your class… you teach us interesting topics and admonish us where to use our colons and dashes. I pass devious obstacles to reach your class. You are competent on your impartial job and have control over our literacy class.
I also like how you renovated your room for us-last year it was different-it is very nice. I also like how you administer us when we write our vignettes. And when we read: The House on Mango Street. We toil so that we get good grades.
And we thank you for teaching us writing techniques. You are the best writing teacher in the school!!!
Your Student,

Dalia one gold tooth
By: Mehr Eliezer
She hides her sorrows and pains with her smile. Making sure that nobody notices her troubles. Dalia, who skips around the school campus looking for friends. Dalia, who does not understand adults but is one herself. Thinking, acting, talking like an innocent child who’s freedom has been taken away and locked in a glass jar.
Who, wants to live with her parents because for her the world is to violent. Dalia, who has one gold tooth in the front of her mouth, the tooth that always glitters and shimmers when she smiles.
Dalia, who is gone like the wind, gone faster than a turn of a page. Left us, and went to Colombia. Where her mamma and papa live. Where her siblings, doctors, teachers, and secretaries live. Now she will be happy
Now will get her freedom back. Dalia, who is a needle in a hay stack, will be enjoying her time, eating ice creams and her favorite red gummy bears. With her moon of freedom and her sun of happiness. Waiting for a friend to come.

Unbreakable
In my life I only have a couple of friends that are girls. But the funny part is that I am not alone either, I have my 2 best friends. They have been there for me ever since I have talked to them.
Mathieu and Sebastian are one in a million... they are the best est of friends that you can ever have, I am not just saying that, I really mean it... I would do anything to keep our friendship as a whole.
Looking for friends like these are like looking for a needle in a hay stack. I hope that they feel the same for me.

Ines

My friend Ines came to visit from Costa Rica.On Friday she came over for a play day. We played and played till she had to leave. The next day we made plans to go to her house for a sleep over. In her empty house we rolled, tumbled, camped and played all under one roof... Mathieu, Gabi, Laura Acevedo, Gustavo Andres, Ines and I played volley ball with a balloon and inflatable beds.
Ines and I beat Mathieu and Gustavo Andres. Ines told me that she was leaving on Sunday and I was really sad... But on Monday morning in school I saw her calling me from behind the gym door. I went and asked her what happened, why she was not in Costa Rica.
Then she told me that her flight got canceled, She came to visit me. I was so happy I felt like jumping. But I did not. That day I realized that she was my best friend. And best friends are always together. Like fingers on a hand.

Chocolate Love

I am a chocolate addict not a bad one because I hate going to dentist. If I don't do something for my friends they intimidate me with chocolate and being myself I do them their obnoxious favors.
My parents say that there is a snint amount that I can have... but if it were not bad for me I would eat more than you can think of.
One day in 6th grade the U.S.A Girl Scouts had a teacher- student meeting and we had to serve the food. But the only thing that caught my eye was the huge chocolate fountain that they debuted in the large lunch room.
Do you want to eat some??? The teachers would ask us... ummm sure...
Now that my parents were not there my impunity helped me get chocolate... more and more... I did not want to take to much or else be embarassed
infront of my teachers...
And I was lucky that the chocolate got over or else who knows how much my stomach would hurt...

Mission failed?!?!?!

My mom bought 3 packets of grape candies... for what? Don't ask me but all ui want are those candies!!! My favorite, Grape with tangy splash that makes your mouth tingle.
I asked her where they were, but... she will not tell me. So being myself... i assigned myself a mission, GTKANDIES110 agent 64952HDRH. First step, Gather Information.
1, she always takes it out of the closet
2, she always takes about 5 minutes to get them out
and
3, she takes a large stool with her
I entered the closet with the brown stool and stood on my tipp toes to get her view. It tumbled very often but i knew that I can't get hurt or else she would suspect... i looked around but
NOTHING
Exhausted I ran to my room and heared my mom call me...
"what are you doing"
"homework" I replied
Then I sighed and continued working on my algebraic expresions...
I FAILED MY MISSION
AGENT DISSMISED

That Christmas

What are you going to do on Christmas? My friends would ask getting ready to brag about their plans.Easy just like A.B.C i would reply in a flash. The perplexed look n their face assured me that they were defenetely clueles.
You see, I would explainevery year we stay at home and do the same thing all the time...
But i was really wrong... that year I went to Switzerland all alone!!! On the other hand my parents went to India for my Mom's treatment.
I lived with my aunt and uncle and my grandmain that mansion called house.
I reached there on the 24th mnorning. Because of the jetlag i slept till christmas. I woke up in the morning waiting for my parents to enter the room like they always did. but oh wait I forgot they were in India. just like A.B.C i went to take a warm bath and change my clothes... i went down for breakfast and noticed that some thing caught my eye.
Small little particles of snow fell like snow on the ground. i got my sweater, gloves, boots, and hat. I ran, ran, ran out the door watched as the snow fell delicately on my eyelashes. making me blink faster. I made a really really bad snowman, climbed up the hill, and made a beutiful snow angel. I stopped running and thought about my parents. It was my first Christmas without them.
My cousins and family entered the room. Pulling my used to be rosy red cheecks. My family sang christmas songs... the phone rang and mygrandma picked up
Yeah she is here, she would whisper. ok!!! Bambi!!!
I ran and wondered who would call
i picked up the phone and heared a familiar voice Mom... Dad
That winter I learnt something...
Family is always with you even if you are miles apart.

Chores
She entered the hovel shack and picked up the chairs that gave her splinters. the microscopic dust entering the window overpowered the thin air. She cleaned as much as she could. Parched, exhausted, dog-tired.
Later she went to the house to wash the dirty dishes. This chore was so much menial than cleaning the old shack. But you have to admit that it is not streneous. She washed and wahsed until her fingers got wrinkled and then she capiluated and sat down.
Then Monique got up. she held the broom tight in her hand and kept on brooming for over a half hour. She thought that it was adequate enough thought there were little mounds of dust that she stuck in the corners.
Monique went outside to get fresh air. And she did because it was peak of fall and winter was coming, the leaves were flying away swiftly and the chill noon breeze whistled around. A small boy approached her house; his arm had a wound and was bleeding. Monique wanted to administer him by giving him a bandage but she used them all for her splinters.
Then she went home agitated because she could not help . She started making a citrus platter. Because she loved eating them her favorite one is called Ugli- it is a Jamaican Tangelo- her favorite additional toppping was sugar.
A loud BANG disrupted her sweet moment. she got up and looked out the fogy window and saw Victoria (her mom) crash into a trash can. She was wearing her favorite muffle with matching gloves. she entered the house and slammed the door behind her making a crisp sound.
She could not find a job since she was illiterate. Victoria knew that they needed the money urgently. But Monique felt indifferent about it. She did not care because she knew her mom was trying.
The respite looks on Victoria's face made Monique think about her toil day. She handed her mom a grapefruit and looked at the permanent check marks on the wall. They were there since Victoria started searching for a job.
Monique looked at her mom and gave a LONG sigh.

Memoir Monday January 19, 2009 Christmas

It was cold. The bells were ringing, the winds were whistling, and the chilly snow was touching my hand. At last it was Christmas! I love Christmas, all the presents, the snow and best of all, family. There are just two things about Christmas that I don’t like. When I was very small I spent one of my Christmas with my Grandparents in India and a few months later my Grandfather died. Then, it was Christmas again. I was in Switzerland. Christmas I always spend with my parents and some friends but that year it was different and I spent it with my Cousins, Uncle, Aunt and Grandmother. A few months later very early in the morning we got a phone call. I thought I had heard the phone ringing in my dreams but a few hours later my Dad woke me up and said that he had to leave for India. I knew it had to do something with the family and I supposed it was my Grandmother. So I asked my Mom and she said that my Grandmother had died. I was shocked at first but then I realized what everybody says that, that is the cycle of life.
